How are we different
Coaches of the QHTC believe in leveraging science, technology and innovation in development of athletes. We also understand that the saying "this is how we were taught to do it" isn't always the correct answer. Coach Mike, the head coach is a student of the sport. He believes that as science evolves around running so should a coach training knowledge.
By leveraging the technology used by www.portcoach.com each athlete is given yearly, weekly and daily training goals that are specific to the individual. Using these goals coaches are able to quickly gauge the progress of each athlete, identify and correct weaknesses in development. Yearly goals are driven by NCAA requirements for Full Scholarships and the combined with the athlete current fitness level and grade level helps to determined the athletes training goals. The overall goal of this program is to ensure that athletes get financial support for college through track and field.
